Do you accept my insurance?
We currently are only in-network with MediCare. We are not in network with any insurance other companies and do not bill your insurance. We are happy to provide an itemized Superbill that you may file with your insurance company for reimbursement. You can also use HSA and FSA dollars to help cover costs. All payments are due at the end of the visit. We accept credit cards, cash and checks. There is a $25 fee for returned checks.
Are lab tests covered by insurance?
Many of the labs and specialty labs we use do accept insurance including Medicare. When we order labs, you are welcome to add your insurance information to the lab requisition. Please note that any payments or amounts not covered by your insurance company are completely between you and the lab company. Bitterroot Integrative Health and Wellness does not pay on your behalf.
Do you offer discounts?
Not at this time please check with our office staff for any special needs.
Do you take walk-in’s?
To accommodate our scheduled patients, we cannot accept patients without appointments. However, there may be availability for “Same Day Appointments” depending on the daily schedule. We will do our best to accommodate you for acute conditions.
Do you see sick patients?
If you are an established patient and have an acute condition such as upper respiratory illness or migraine, etc. we will do our best to accommodate a same day, or next day visit. New patients with acute conditions need to schedule an Initial Exam so that we can be sure to understand your entire background and all the pieces that contribute to your health in order to provide the best care for you. Note: if significant personal protective equipment such as gown, masks, goggles, etc. are deemed necessary due to the contagious nature of your illness, there will be an additional $25 fee added to that visit to cover the additional equipment needed and time for disinfecting the exam room after your visit.
Do you treat injuries like cuts or broken bones or chest pain?
Acute injuries such as lacerations, fractures, sprains or acute chest pain or difficulty breathing require emergency medical care and treatment that we do not facilitate. These conditions need to be directed to the nearest Urgent Care or Emergency Room. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, slurring words, or sudden weakness and falling, CALL 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
